"No other Way!" There was no other way for sinful man to be reconciled to The Holy God other than the Son of The Holy God, Jesus, to be put to death! Death on a Cross, the most cruelest of all punishments! Your sin and my sin caused Jesus to suffer and die! It is my prayer that God has revealed to you the reason Jesus had to die the cruel way on the Cross. I pray that God will use the past messages from Ezekiel Chapter 36 to challenge you to be the Man or Woman He has called you to be.
Thank you for allowing me the privilege to be your Pastor. Since my study of the Cross began a few weeks ago, I have come to a place where I am seeing things much differently. As I looked at your faces this past weekend during our several Resurrection Services, I was reminded that each one of you are "Special" to God. You are special people, with a special purpose. I was reminded that each one of you have various struggles and are in need of a Real Hope and Peace. I was humbled and stricken with fear at the fact that God, The Creator of all, has placed me here and given me the responsibility to help you through those struggles and to find that Real Hope and Peace. And I am also reminded of the fact that I am accountable to God alone in this matter. I pray that as God opens my eyes, He will also open your eyes to seeing things much different. Please pray for me as I try to be the Pastor that God is calling me to be for you. Pray that I challenge you with the Truth of His Word, that I point you to the only Way, Jesus, and that I live my life under the direction and power of Holy Spirit.
April was a very busy month and May is about to be as well. Thank all of you that showed your support for Dustin and Tamara Shell. Continue to pray for them as they begin this new journey together. We are starting a new Bible Study Class for young people, Sunday mornings 9:45 a.m. Let Rachel or myself know if you are interested in teaching this class. Thank all of you that made our Nursing Facilty Service in Georgiana so special for the residents this Easter. I had many great comments about the program this week. Thank you to the "Youth for Christ " for making hat event very special. Thanks to all of you that has raised money for "Relay for Life". We reached our Goal!!! Remember to Pray for those with Cancer. Coming up this month; Revival in Georgiana, May 3rd thru May 5th. "Relay for Life" May 6th. Our first "Youth Mission Camp" May 28th thru June 1st. Our Vacation Bible School will be coming the first full week in June. Thank each one of you for all of your work in serving Jesus Christ, our Lord, here at Brushey Creek. Remember to Pray for our Vision Team and remember to pray for one another. (1st Samuel 12:23) To God be the Glory!
